Haslam’s Full-Time MBA develops both the breadth of business knowledge necessary to be a successful leader and the depth of knowledge in a concentration area to add more direct value to a business unit.
THE MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA) program at the Haslam College of Business is a nationally ranked full-time program that equips students with a strong business foundation and applicable workplace skills. Students will receive a quick return on investment with the 16-month full-time MBA, as well as a wealth of applied, team-based learning that encompasses business knowledge and professional skills to use throughout their careers.
The Haslam College of Business is ranked #2 nationally among supply chain graduate programs and #1 for supply chain research globally. Our MBA students have access to hundreds of industry professionals through Haslam’s highly regarded Global Supply Chain Institute, alumni network and world-class faculty.
Our curriculum encompasses business knowledge and professional skills, allowing you to develop expertise in one of five concentration areas during your final semester. The Full-Time MBA program also includes a required summer internship, giving you the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge you have learned throughout the program while establishing business rapport with key industry leaders.
Haslam’s Full-Time MBA program emphasizes small cohorts and team-based learning to reflect real-world business dynamics. With a focus on collaboration, the program ensures that students are well-prepared for the team-oriented challenges they will encounter in their future careers. Small cohorts foster a close-knit learning environment where students can engage deeply with peers and professors, building strong professional networks while sharpening their communication skills. In this environment, students learn to articulate ideas clearly, listen actively, and navigate the complexities of group dynamics—essential skills for any business leader.
Participating in teams throughout the core of the program allows students to gain leadership skills and refine their problem-solving abilities while learning how to work effectively with others. In today’s business world, few tasks are completed in isolation, and the ability to collaborate, manage multiple perspectives, and lead a team toward a common goal is vital. Through hands-on team assignments, students are presented with complex problems that require strategic thinking to solve, giving them opportunities to develop key skills such as delegation and conflict resolution. By working together, students not only deepen their understanding of business concepts but also learn how to leverage the unique strengths of each team member, ultimately enhancing their leadership capabilities. This approach ensures that MBA graduates are not only academically prepared but also equipped with the communication and problem-solving skills necessary for success in the fast-paced, interconnected world of business.
Join a network of over 55,000 Haslam alumni spanning the globe, serving as leaders and innovators in their fields. This dedicated community provides support and resources to help students grow their professional network and advance their careers during the program and beyond.
